Автор статьи предпринимает попытку теоретического осмысления природы учебной иноязычной коммуникации, подвергая компаративному анализу условия изучения иностранного языка, с одной стороны, и овладения родным – с другой. Потенциальным продуктом обоих процессов можно считать смысл, который в случае с коммуникацией на родном языке порождается, обсуждается, принимается или отклоняется непосредственно в момент коммуникации, а в случае с иноязычной – выступает как рефлексия на коммуникативный акт, осуществляемая после его завершения.
The paper investigates the nature of instructional communication comparing conditions of learning a foreign language, on the one hand, and a native one, on the other, The potential product of both processes is meaning which, in case with communication in a native language, is being born, discussed, accepted or declined right at the moment of communication, and in case with instructional communication, meaning is a kind of reflection to a communicative act being realized after its completion.
