Сотрудничество ФРГ со странами Балтии имеет сегодня важное значение для Берлина, который видит в государствах региона один из ключевых узлов по противодействию России, а также зону своего прямого политического влияния. В условиях деградации режима международного контроля над конвенциональными вооружениями, а также роста вероятности ядерного конфликта важность данного исследования обусловливается потребностью в изучении военной политики стран–членов НАТО. В данной исследовательской работе поднимается проблема многовекторного военного сотрудничества между ФРГ и странами Балтии, а также влияние данного сотрудничества на общую систему европейской безопасности с учетом продолжающегося конфликта на Украине, который берет свое начало с 2014 г. и продолжается до сих пор, охватывая все больше географического пространства, в том числе и Балтийское море. Целью данного исследования является анализ эволюции военно-политического сотрудничества ФРГ, Литвы, Латвии и Эстонии в контексте эскалации кризиса европейской безопасности. Одним из ключевых результатов данного исследования стало рассмотрение военно-политического сотрудничества между Германией и странами Балтии с позиции военно-политической и военно-технической кооперации. Была дана оценка вызовам и потенциальных возможностей, которые открываются перед Германией и странами Балтии в контексте продолжающейся деградации архитектуры европейской безопасности. Задачами данного исследования является: проследить эволюцию военно-политических подходов ФРГ по отношению к государствам Балтии. Проанализировать текущий уровень и состояние военно-политических связей между ФРГ и государствами рассматриваемого региона. Оценить степень влияния сотрудничества Германии и стран Балтии на европейскую безопасность в контексте военно-политического кризиса в регионе.

Cooperation between Germany and the Baltic states is of great importance to Berlin, which sees the region as a key component for deterring Russia and the area of its direct political influence. With the degradation of the international conventional arms control regime and the growing probability of a nuclear conflict, the importance of this study is determined by the need to examine the military policy of the NATO member states. This research paper addresses the issue of a multi-vector military cooperation between Germany and the Baltic States and the impact of this cooperation on the overall European security system, taking into account the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, which started in 2014 and continues to this date, covering an increasing geographical area, including the Baltic Sea. One of this study’s key results was examining the military-political cooperation between Germany and the Baltic states from the perspective of a military-political and military-technical cooperation. The research contains an assessment of the challenges and the potential opportunities for Germany and the Baltic states in the context of the ongoing degradation of the European security architecture. The methodological basis of this study was the theory of military force building, which allowed the author to provide an objective approach to understanding the issues of the military-political cooperation between the countries under consideration.
