<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>This article examines the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in the analysis of foreign policy and international relations, with a particular emphasis on the United States. It identifies four principal fields of AI application: forecasting international events, modeling diplomatic negotiations, evaluating the risks of automated decision-making in the nuclear domain, and analyzing foreign policy decision-making processes. The article offers a comparative assessment of AI systems developed in the United States, China, and Russia, underscoring the growing relevance of specialized and domain-specific AI models as tools for expert analysis. Particular attention is devoted to benchmarking methodologies for evaluating generative models and to the critical role of human expertise in interpreting AI-generated outputs.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>внешняя политика</kwd><kwd>ИИ</kwd><kwd>дипломатия</kwd><kwd>прогнозирование</kwd><kwd>принятие решений</kwd><kwd>международные отношения</kwd><kwd>США</kwd><kwd>стратегическая стабильность</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>foreign policy</kwd><kwd>AI</kwd><kwd>diplomacy</kwd><kwd>forecasting</kwd><kwd>decision-making</kwd><kwd>international relations</kwd><kwd>US</kwd><kwd>strategic stability</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Цветкова 2020 – Цветкова Н.А.
