В статье анализируется развитие атомной энергетики стран ЦВЕ в условиях формирования единой энергетической политики Евросоюза. Расширение ЕС на восток Европы оказало влияние на энергетическую безопасность стран ЦВЕ. Государства ЦВЕ - члены ЕС были вынуждены адаптировать национальные энергетические политики согласно экологическим стандартам Евросоюза. В связи с растущей зависимостью ЕС от импорта ископаемых источников энергии был взят курс на диверсификацию внутреннего потребления энергии, в том числе на развитие возобновляемых источников энергии. Существенные отличия между новыми и старыми членами ЕС в сфере энергетики, особенно в области использования атомной энергетики, вылились в проблему энергетической безопасности стран ЦВЕ, лишив ряд из них возможности диверсификации внутреннего энергообеспечения за счет атомной энергетики. Таким образом, ядерная энергетика стала одной из причин раскола энергетического пространства ЕС на западную и восточную части, что негативно отразилось на развитии единой энергетической политики ЕС.
This article analyses the development of nuclear energy policy of CEE countries in the context of starting the unified EU energy policy. Enlargement of EU to the east of Europe affected the energy security of CEE countries. CEE new member states of EU were forced to adjust their national energy policies in accordance with the environmental standards of common EU energy policy. Due to the growing EU dependence on imported fossil fuels EU’s governing bodies made a decision to diversify domestic energy consumption, including the development of renewables. Significant differences between the CEE new member states of the EU and the old members of the EU in the field of energy, especially in the field of nuclear energy, resulted in the problem of their energy security depriving a number of CEE countries of the possibility of diversification of their internal energy mix by means of nuclear power. Hence nuclear power became one of the reasons for the split of the EU’s energy space into the western and eastern parts,what negatively affected the development of common energy policy of the European Union.
