<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The article presents a general analysis of various ways to record information about Maya terracotta figurines of the 1st millennium AD, posted in digitized collections on museum websites. One of the key criteria for grouping materials was the amount of data entered into the accounting (inventory) card of the museum exhibit. Thus, it was conditionally possible to identify three groups of fixation of the material. The first one provides extensive information about the exhibit. The photos of the figures are taken from various angles. The second group contains the average amount of information, which allows us to form a general idea of the storage unit. In such cases, the image is more often made from a single angle. The third group has a minimal set of information. In general, regardless of the location of the museum, when including a storage unit in the fund, experts try to record the maximum information available about figurines. </p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>майя</kwd><kwd>терракотовые статуэтки</kwd><kwd>музей</kwd><kwd>сайт</kwd><kwd>инвентарная карточка экспоната музея</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>Maya</kwd><kwd>terracotta figurines</kwd><kwd>museum</kwd><kwd>website</kwd><kwd>a museum inventory card</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Sánchez 2021 – Sánchez G.S.
