<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The ideology of royal power in the early Ramesside period was characterized by an appeal to the cult of ancestors for the purposes of legitimization. Such a model was a characteristic feature of crisis periods in the history of Ancient Egypt. But the forms by which a new dynasty or a specific king addressed ancestors had their own characteristics. Under Seti I, old ideologemes, including those concerning the correlation between king and ancestors, were transformed to meet the needs of the time. For example, the concept of the patronage of a certain god to a claimant to the throne, developed in detail under Horemheb. At the beginning of the 19th dynasty, Horus, who was originally present in it, was replaced by Seth, and the patronage of the god was transferred from the figure of the king to the entire family. One of the indirect confirmations of this may be the procession of royal relatives in the cenotaph of Ramses I in Abydos, built by Seti. Particular attention is drawn to the images of women of the Ramses family, who did not have the right to be depicted with elements of royal iconography. In this article we would like to examine this monument from the point of view of the new edition of the ideologeme of the patron god of the royal family at the beginning of the 13th century BC, using sources related to the cult of divine ancestors, which was actively used to legitimize the power of the Ramessides during the reign of Seti I. </p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>Абидос</kwd><kwd>культ предков</kwd><kwd>Хоремхеб</kwd><kwd>Рамсес I</kwd><kwd>Сети I</kwd><kwd>Хор</kwd><kwd>Сетх</kwd><kwd>Рамессиды</kwd><kwd>идеология царской власти</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>Abydos</kwd><kwd>ancestor cult</kwd><kwd>Horemheb</kwd><kwd>Ramses I</kwd><kwd>Seti I</kwd><kwd>Horus</kwd><kwd>Seth</kwd><kwd>Ramessides</kwd><kwd>ideology of royal power</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Барсуков 2024а – Барсуков Е.О.
