Политика Коминтерна в Латинской Америке в оценках современных англоязычных историков

В статье анализируется современная англоязычная историография (с 1990-х гг. по настоящее время) политики Коммунистического интернационала в отношении латиноамериканского региона. Выбор англоязычных стран обусловлен тем, что значительное количество исследований, посвященных тактике Коминтерна в отношении Латинской Америки и деятельности его секций, публикуются именно в США, Великобритании, Канаде и Австралии. Главным образом историков интересует, в чем заключалось влияние Коминтерна на тактику латиноамериканских компартий и каков был характер этого влияния. Новизна исследования заключается в том, что, несмотря на актуальность изучения политики III Интернационала, отсутствуют публикации, в которых анализируются взгляды современных зарубежных историков на деятельность этой международной организации в Латинской Америке. Констатируется, что традиционалистский подход к анализу деятельности Коминтерна, который оформился до и во время холодной войны, по-прежнему значительно представлен в англоязычной историографии. Однако окончательное утверждение нового подхода («ревизионистского») способствовало определенному пересмотру существующих тенденций: в статье присутствуют оценки как отрицательного, так и положительного влияния Коминтерна на отдельно взятые компартии, на политическую ситуацию в стране или регионе. Принадлежность к этим направлениям достаточно условная, однако ключевые расхождения исследователей по основным вопросам, а также участие в дискуссиях и определение своим оппонентам вполне устоявшихся взглядов позволяют так или иначе определить научную направленность их работ.
