Human rights in social practices of the Orthodox church. Social and political dimension
Abstract
The article analyzes the concept of human rights in social practices of the Russian Orthodox Church considering the basic directions of this concept development in the context of the state-religious relations and its impact on socio-political processes in modern Russia. The author also analyzes Orthodox Church human rights discourses and concludes that human rights conception (as it is interpreted by the Church) effects the formation of the Russian model of secularism.
