СТРАТЕГИИ КНР И США В ОТНОШЕНИИ ТАЙВАНЯ В XXI ВЕКЕ

Abstract

Актуальность рассматриваемой темы объясняется все возрастающим напряжением в отношениях между Вашингтоном и Пекином и важностью Тайваня для мировой экономики. Сохранение влияния на Тайвань является ключевым для Вашингтона фактором для сохранения собственных позиций в регионе и сдерживания усиления влияния Китая. Несмотря на то, что официально США придерживаются принципа «одного Китая», их трактовка этого принципа прямо противоречит официальной позиции китайских властей. Вероятность конфликта усугубляется тем обстоятельством, что занявший пост Президента США Д. Трамп воспринимает КНР как основную угрозу экономическому и политическому влиянию Вашингтона.  Однако политика «стратегической неопределенности», избранная еще при Дж. Картере, оставляет пространство для маневра. У Штатов нет прямой обязанности вступаться за Тайвань в случае военного столкновения. В статье рассматриваются юридические и исторические основания позиций двух государств, эволюция их официальной и фактической позиции по вопросу суверенитета Тайваня, их подходы к продвижению своих интересов на острове, а также отношение и готовность к венному столкновению, которое некоторые эксперты считают вероятным, если не неизбежным.
